I’m your friendly North-Easterner, Durham born and bred, now based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Previously a family lawyer for 18 years, now a voice-over artist, I’m experienced in the corporate world and appreciate what’s required- not least the value of listening, taking instructions, using the appropriate delivery style and working with your team to deliver accurately and on time. I’m all about the natural, “non-announcery” approach! Technical, “wordy” corporate narration and e-learning scripts (legalese or other) don’t worry me (dare I say I even enjoy them!)

I mostly voice corporate work in all its wonderful guises (promos, web videos, explainers/”how to guides”, awards films, AGM videos, pre-recorded on-line training/webinars, animated videos, even AR/VR narration, podcast intros/outros, museum exhibits/narration and telephone messaging/IVR. It’s safe to say that no day is ever the same and that’s the joy of voiceover work! I’ve voiced TV and radio commercials too and have worked with major brands in many sectors ranging from international Law firms and baby and parent companies to pharmaceuticals, cars, hotels, spas, charities, education, utilities, pensions, lingerie…..the list goes on!

My voice has been described as “refined northern”- natural, assured and articulate, calm and reassuring, friendly and chatty! As a mother of 2 energetic boys, I deliver an authentic soft, loving, maternal voice as well as a frustrated, tired one if required! Self-confessed chocoholic, I have no trouble with serving up salivating, smooth and sultry tones for delicious food and luxury products too!

The magic all happens in my lovely “Whisper Room” professional booth and sometimes in external studios when projects require it.
